Problem
When using BlueScale encryption, importing
an encryption key with a moniker greater
than 32 characters from a USB key causes
the library to lock up. After the library
reboots, the encryption key has been added
to the partition as the decryption key.
When using BlueScale encryption, data
encrypted with a moniker greater than 32
characters cannot be recovered using the
Encryption/Decryption Utility (EDU).

BlueScale10.0.8-20080319F

Enhancement
Manufacturing reliability is improved.
Issue Resolved
Tapes now span properly for libraries connected through iSCSI.

BlueScale10.0.7-20080109F

Enhancement
The Spectra Logic logo no longer displays in the BlueScale interface for the library,
which enhances BlueScale interface consistency across the T-series tape libraries.

BlueScale10.0.6-20071214F

Enhancements
Re-scans tapes that don't appear with barcodes when initializing the library and
importing and exporting tapes. If the library detects a barcode for the tape during
re-scanning, the barcode appears in the BlueScale interface.
Uses updated Bridgeworks firmware that improves iSCSI compatibility with the
library.
Encryption
Make sure that encryption monikers are 32
or fewer characters in length.
