If an error occurs when resizing a partition with multiple drives, the partition does
not resize correctly. Workaround: delete the partition and recreate it using the new
sizing information.
If you have a problem configuring iSCSI and you are running Redhat Linux, you
may need to open the configuration file and make sure there are two spaces before
the OutgoingUsername and OutgoingPassword to enable the Challenge Handshake
Authentication Protocol (CHAP). If the spaces are not present, the Linux iSCSI does
not request CHAP and fails the authentication.
Issues Resolved
On libraries using Professional Edition, a partition may have a key associated with it
that can only be used for decryption. When the encryption key is deleted, the
decrypt-only key no longer takes the place of the encryption key. After deleting the
encryption key, users must assign another key to the partition as the encryption key
to continue encrypting partition data.
Encryption with compression in fixed mode now reads/writes correctly.

Known Issues
When the drive has a tape loaded, it may time out commands to the drive during
configuration. This is because the drive stops talking on the serial port to move the
motor. To avoid this, make sure that all drives are empty before configuration.
The library may falsely report drive fan faults (that drive fans are not working) after
cycling power. Users can ignore and/or delete these messages.
Loose drives may improperly report a failed move with 4,85,99 sense code. If you
receive an error code 4,85,99 reported to a move command, visually inspect the
tape drives to assure that they are properly secured within the library. (See the
library's user guide for instructions on removing the library cover.)
Customers may have issues when trying to save an AutoSupport profile using the
RLC through Internet Explorer 7.
Note:
Saving the AutoSupport profile does work when using the front panel or
when using Firefox.
