d. Change the engine oil
- Tilt the unit backwards by the handlebar to change the engine oil.
- Do not lay the tool on its side so that no liquid escapes.
- Make the first oil change after approximately 5 hours of use, then all
50 hours of use or once a year.
- Change the oil when the engine is still warm.
- Remove the spark plug.
- Open the oil drain screw on the bottom of the unit.
- Allow the oil to drain into a suitable container.
- Wipe off the leaking motor oil and screw in the oil drain screw.
e. Adjust the cable
If the control cable for the transmission is out of sync and has too much
play, you can fix it.
- Loosen the small lock nut (32a).
- Turn the adjusting nut (32b) counter clockwise: The control cable is
shortened.
- Turn the adjusting nut (32b) in a clockwise direction: The cable is
extended.
f. Sharpen/change the blades
- Remove the spark plug from its socket and inspect the blade for
wear or damage.
- Always make a blunt blade sharpened by a specialized garage as it
can perform an unbalance check.
- Always sharpen a blade or replace an unbalanced blade with a
specialist. Incorrect mounting may cause serious.

WARNING: Wear gloves, turn off the engine and remove the spark
plug before proceeding.
