If the diagnostics completed successfully and you still suspect a problem, see
"Undetermined problems" on page 137.

Power-on the computer.
•
If the computer hangs and no error is displayed, go to "Undetermined
problems" on page 137.
•
Record any POST error messages displayed on the screen. If an error is
displayed, look up the first error in the "POST error codes" on page 129.
•
Check the information LED panel System Error LED; if on, see "Information
panel system error LED" on page 123.
•
Check the System Error Log. If an error was recorded by the system, see
Chapter , "Symptom-to-FRU index," on page 121.
•
Start the Diagnostic Programs. See "Diagnostic programs and error
messages" on page 15.

Check for the following responses:

One beep.
b. Readable instructions or the Main Menu.
