Connections on the Back of the Machine

Item Description
1 USB Port (type B peripheral port): Used to connect to:
• the Pitney Bowes Data Center via SmartLink
• the Pitney Bowes Data Center via a USB cable connected to a Windows PC that has Internet
access (known as PC Meter Connect™ desktop application). See Chapter 6, Adding Postage for
more information.
• Data Exchange via a PC (optional software product), which allows you to transfer Standard
Accounting data from your machine to your PC
2 Power Switch: Powers the machine on and off.
