Before
turning-on
the
blower, allow the wood fire
to
reach
operating
temperature (approximately
one hour). The increased
airflow from the blower
cools the firebox and could
affect
the
start-up
combustion efficiency if the
blower is turned on too
early. You can also install a
thermodisc (A) to enable the
blower to start or stop
automatically
when
the
wood fire is hot or too cold.
The standard thermodisc
part number is ACO5530.
Use the AC02056 for a quick
connect model. Installation
instructions
are
supplied
with the thermodisc.
CAUTION: ENSURE THAT THE BLOWER'S POWER CORD IS NOT IN CONTACT WITH ANY SURFACE
OF THE WOOD FIRE TO PREVENT ELECTRICAL SHOCK OR FIRE DAMAGE. DO NOT RUN THE
POWER CORD BENEATH THE WOOD FIRE.
