Provision
The Security Vulnerability Monitoring (SVM) process identifies and tracks security weak
points in OEM and third-party components on a daily basis. The information determined
for each vulnerability is evaluated according to whether it affects the product and how critical
it is. Security patches are made available depending on the evaluation. This means that our
product remain secure over its complete life cycle.

Creating a backup copy

ing the connectivity module
The backup copy was created after commissioning

9.2
Activating/deactivating the service mode
Activate the Windows Application Control Service mode to install software and updates on the
IPC. To restore access protection for the IPC, deactivate the service mode after the software has
been installed.
Prerequisites
• A Remote Desktop connection has been established from the local service PC to the IPC.
• You have administrator rights
Activating the service mode
1. On the IPC desktop, open link "AppLocker".
2. Select script "010_disable_applicationcontrol".

Inserting the connection key

The connection key does not have to be entered.
