WARNING
If your vehicle is equipped with a rollover
sensor, place the ignition switch or press
Engine Start/Stop button in the
LOCK/OFF or ACC position when the
vehicle is being towed. The side impact
and curtain air bag may deploy if the
sensor detects the situation as a rollover.
When towing your vehicle in an
emergency without wheel dollies:
1. Release EPB before turning off the
engine.
2. Place the ignition switch or press the
ignition switch to ON/OFF position.
3. Change the gear to N (Neutral) while
pressing the brake pedal. For more
details, refer to "Automatic
Transmission" section in chapter 6.
4. Place the ignition switch to the ACC
position.
CAUTION
Failure to shift the gear to N (Neutral) may
cause internal damage to the
transmission.

Removable Towing Hook

1. Open the liftgate, and remove the
towing hook from the tool case.
2. Remove the hole cover.

• Push the lower part of the bumper hole
cover.

• Push the left part of the bumper hole
cover.
