4.1

General

The MiniCODER and the ferromagnetic measuring scale form a measuring system.
The MiniCODER contactlessly scans the ferromagnetic measuring scale and ac-
quires the direction of rotation, rotational speed and position.
To ensure the correct function of the measuring system,

The MiniCODER must match the module, the reference mark and the width of the
measuring scale
●
The MiniCODER must be mounted symmetrically in relation to the measuring
scale
●
A defined air gap must be maintained between the MiniCODER and the measur-
ing scale
