9.2.3. Power head disassembly/replacement

Remove the controller, see 9.2.2. Controller replacement, page 98.
B
Using a 7 mm wrench or flat screwdriver, unscrew (3).
C
Using a 8 mm wrench or flat screwdriver, unscrew (1) and remove the bloc (2).
D
If present, slip off the meter cable from the gearing system (4).
E
Separate the gearing system (4) from the valve body (6).
F
Put the piston (8) in the higher position possible.
G
Push forward the top plate (5).
H
Fix the new gearing system (4) on the top plate (5), starting form the brine valve side.
Note
If needed, push the piston (8) to have it correctly aligned with the coupling of the gearing
system (9).
Caution
When assembling the gearing system (4) on the valve body (6), make sure to put the widest
part of the piston axe (8) on the left as shown beside.

Push back the assembly of the gearing system and the top plate (7).

Reverse above procedure steps A to D to rebuilt.
Tip
These operations need to be performed before any cleaning or maintenance procedure.
