HEAD DIS-ASSEMBLING & ASSEMBLING – 80E30
NOTE
Read all guidelines in this section before attempting to rebuild the head.
Head rebuilding should be performed in a clean work area. Dust or dirt on O-rings or other parts
can scratch inner surfaces and cause subsequent leakage.
Replace any components not in "as-new" condition. Re-using corroded or damaged components
can result in explosive head failure.
WARNING
DO NOT SERVICE ANY COMPONENT UNTIL YOU VERIFY THAT PRESSURE IS FULLY
RELIEVED FROM THE VESSEL.
REPLACE ANY COMPONENTS NOT IN "AS-NEW" CONDITION. REUSING CORRODED OR
DAMAGED COMPONENTS CAN RESULT IN CATASTROPHIC FAILURE.
SNAP RINGS MUST BE FULLY SEATED AT BOTTOM OF GROOVES PROVIDED.
INCORRECT ASSEMBLY CAN RESULT IN CATASTROPHIC RELEASE OF PORT.
