5. Configure the DHCP service.
a) Set DHCPService_Enable to True.
b) Modify the DHCPService_LeaseTime value to set the time after which an assigned IP address
expires.
c) Modify the DHCPService_RangeFrom to set the first IP address in the range of acceptable IP
addresses to assign. The DHCP service assigns IP addresses within this range starting with this IP
address.
d) Modify the DHCPService_RangeTo to set the last IP address in the range of acceptable IP
addresses to assign. The DHCP service assigns IP addresses within this range ending with this IP
address.
6. Compile the application.

Configure Hardware on a Local Network

Follow these guidelines when configuring the Ouster LiDAR hardware on a local network.
Mount and connect the Ouster LiDAR hardware following guidelines in the hardware user manual
provided by Ouster.
Connect the Ouster LiDAR hardware to the router directly or through a network smart switch.
Use an M12 to RJ45 Ethernet cable to connect the controller to the router directly or through a
network smart switch. This cable may not come with the Ouster LiDAR hardware.
The controller and the Ouster LiDAR hardware must be on the same subnet.
Obtain the IP address assigned to the Ouster LiDAR hardware from the router.
