Danfoss | March 2023
This section provides instructions for configuring the Ouster LiDAR compliance block to enable
communication between Danfoss controllers and one Ouster LiDAR hardware To configure more than
one LiDAR, see
Configure Multiple LiDARs
Directly Connected to Controller
Connect the Ouster LiDAR hardware directly to a controller to collect data from a single LiDAR. With this
configuration, the Ouster LiDAR hardware is connected to a controller using an Ethernet cable.
Configure Using the Controller DHCP Service
Connect the DHCP service on the controller. The controller assigns IP addresses to the Ouster LiDAR
hardware.
Connected Over a Local Network
Connect the Ouster LiDAR hardware to a controller over a local network to allow the controller to
communicate out over the network. When connected to a local network, the DHCP service on the
network assigns IP addresses to the controller and Ouster LiDAR hardware.
Follow these steps to wire the Ouster LiDAR compliance block when connecting the Ouster LiDAR
hardware.
Before you begin, add the Ouster LiDAR compliance block to the application, as well as the latest
Data_Lockers block. See
