Initial Inspection – Verify SSD image and Firmware Version
This section verifies the correct SSD and firmware version are installed to be
successful with this upgrade.
STOP!
Perform this initial inspection, before continuing with this upgrade. If your
system CPU version is greater than Version 7, skip this section and
continue to
If your instrument has a CPU Version:
1. Press Help > About
2. In the About Network Analyzer window that opens, make a note of the
Installation Procedure for the Upgrade
The network analyzer must be in proper working condition prior to installing
this option. Any necessary repairs must be made before proceeding with this
installation.

Perform initial inspection, before continuing with this upgrade. Refer to
"Initial Inspection – Verify SSD image and Firmware Version" on page
This installation requires the removal of the analyzer's protective
outer covers. The analyzer must be powered down and
disconnected from the mains supply before performing this
procedure.

— System CPU Version, Disk Drive Version and Application Code
Version:
— If the CPU is Version 7, The SSD must be 256 GB SSD
(N5242-60135) with Disk Drive Version S.41.04.05 and
Application Code Version A.14.00 firmware or greater
installed. The SSD N5242-60135 is not included in this kit.
Please contact Keysight if you need to replace the SSD
and order N5242-60135.
