Heating circuit with mixing valve

To use the indoor unit with a heating circuit with mixing
valve, the internal heating circulation pump must be re-
placed with an adaptor.
1 Internal heating circulation pump
The adaptor needs to have the following dimensions:
- Connections 2 x 1½" MT, with flat gasket
- Length 180 mm
- Nominal diameter DN 25 (1")
The adaptor is available from OCHSNER as an
accessory.
Subsequently, the heating circuit can be set up externally.
Connect the components of the heating circuit with mixing
valve to the following connections in the control box:
Components

Mixed circuit sensor
Mixing circuit circulation pump

T-HK2
PUM-HK2
Note
If these conversions are carried out after commis-
sioning, the system must then be recommissioned.
Commissioning is carried out by OCHSNER cus-
tomer service or by a customer service partner
authorised by OCHSNER.
10. Electrical connection

10.1 General

WARNING: Electrocution
Before commencing electrical connection and
installation work, the heat pump system must be
isolated from the power supply.

Work on electrical connections and installation may
only be conducted by qualified contractors.
WARNING: Electrocution
Before commissioning, the necessary fault pro-
tection measures on the system and the earth
connection must be checked by a qualified con-
tractor.

Before commencing work to connect up the power
supply, the necessary activities defined in section
"Preparing the electrical connections" must have
been completed.

For the electrical connection, use the system princi-
ple schematic appropriate to your heat pump system.
(See page 58, System principle schematic)

10.2 Electrical connection of the indoor unit

Remove the appliance cladding. (See page 33,
Disassembling the appliance casing)
Note
When fitting the cables in the indoor unit, ensure
that subsequent connection work and soldering on
the refrigerant pipes will not be obstructed by the
cables.
Note
For the shielded cables between the outdoor and
indoor units, use the shielding clamps provided on
the control box panel.
Note
For the cables inside the control box on the indoor
unit, use the cable strain relief fittings provided.
Observe the permissible torque. (0.5-0.8 Nm)
