Section 4:
The
LED Status Light
printer. It can tell you a lot about what is happening inside the
printer. To accurately interpret what it means when the light is
on, off, or flashing, please refer to the following chart:
Light Status
Off
On Solid
Off One Second,
Then On Momentarily
On One Second,
Then Off Momentarily
Fast, Constant Fast Flash
Slow, Steady Flash
Interpreting the Printer's
LED Status Light
is located in the bottom right side of the
LED Status Light
Condition
No Power
Busy receiving data and/or printing
Normal Mode - waiting for data
Ribbon Cartridge
in all the way
An
error
or more of the following:
a)
ribbon out
b)
wrong ribbon installed (based
on printer driver setting)
c)
tray movement error
d)
tray lift error
e)
memory error - pressing the
Tray In/Out Button may clear
Printer needs a disc, either by loading
one or, if already loaded, pressing the
Tray In/Out Button (if manual mode is
selected in
