4.6 ADJUSTING LIFTING FORKS
The portable lifting columns can be used to lift vehicles with a wheel diameter of R7
(9"/228mm) to R22.5 (45"/1140mm). The forks can easily slide to the correct
dimension:
1 Lift lock-pin to unlock the fork.
2 Use both hands to slide the fork sideways. Adjust both forks so that they are
equally spaced in relation to the centre of the column.
3 Adjust so that the forks at floor height just fit around the tire (to prevent the
rim falling through, when tire becomes deflated) (Fig.8)
4 Make sure that the lock-pin locks-in to place.
