To support VGA display with another VGA board
To support VGA with another VGA board, you must dis-
able VGA mode on the Md5/PCI board. See "To disable
VGA mode" on page 26.
When you install the Md5/PCI board in a computer with
an existing VGA board, only one of the boards can run at
a time, which causes one board to run in high resolution
and the other to run in VGA mode only. This results from
a limitation in the software operating system.
Enabling and disabling VGA mode
Set the DIP switches, located near the top-center of the
Md5/PCI board, to enable or disable VGA mode.
