Sensorless vector control for permanent magnetic

1. Overview

This application note explains how to implement the sensorless vector control software that drives a
permanent magnetic synchronous motor (PMSM) using the RA series microcontroller and how to use the
motor control development support tool, 'Renesas Motor Workbench'.
Note that this software uses the algorithm described in the application note 'Sensorless vector control for
permanent magnet synchronous motor (Algorithm)' (R01AN3786), so please refer to that for the details of
the algorithm.
