2.1 Mounting and Loading the Rotor

2.1.1 Installation of Rotors

Clean the drive shaft and the rotor shaft with a clean, grease-free piece of cloth. Place the rotor onto
the drive shaft, (see Figure 6). Please be sure that the rotor is fully installed onto the motor shaft.

Hold the rotor with one hand and secure the rotor to the shaft, by turning the rotor nut clockwise (see
Figure 7)
Some rotors have to be locked with the rotor key. Therefore, hold the rotor with one hand and
secure it by turning the fixing nut clockwise (see Figure 8). The rotor key is supplied with the
respective rotor.
