<Example: Configuring recording conditions for ALARM EVENT1>
1
In [ALARM EVENT1], select "ON".
In [TRIGGER], select the recording trigger condition.
2
ALARM IN1-8: Recording starts when an alarm signal is received at a specified alarm input terminal.
MOTION: Triggers recording when the motion sensor detects motion in the subject.
ALARM OUT1/2: Recording starts when an alarm signal is sent from a specified alarm output terminal.
While recording triggered by an alarm received at any terminal is in progress, no other recording may
be triggered even if another terminal receives another alarm.
If two or more alarms are received at the same time at multiple terminals, one from the terminal of
the smallest number will take precedence.
You need to configure the alarm input/output conditions on the ALARM SETTINGS screen.
The duration of recording initiated by each trigger is as follows.
ALARM IN1-8/ MOTION: The recording time depends on the [DURATION] setting on the ALARM
SETTINGS screen (ALARM IN).
ALARM OUT1/2: The recording time depends on the [ALARM OUT TIME] setting on the ALARM
SETTINGS screen (ALARM OUT).
In [FRAME RATE], set the frame rate of the post-alarm video stream.
3
VCC-HD5600: 0.1ips, 0.2ips, 0.5ips, 1ips, 3ips, 5ips, 10ips, 15ips, 30ips
VCC-HD5600P: 0.1ips, 0.2ips, 0.5ips, 1ips, 2.5ips, 5ips, 8ips, 12.5, 25ips
Here, you can select a frame rate slower than that set for the stream.
If you selected a H.264 stream in [RECORD STREAM], you cannot change the value specified in
[FRAME RATE].
The frame rate is limited when [AUDIO], [ALTERATION DETECTION], and [PRE ALARM] are set to
"ON".
The frame rate setting will be applied commonly to the ALARM EVENT1 to ALARM EVENT4
settings.
4
To perform pre-alarm recording, in [PRE ALARM], select "ON".
You can now record the video for a specific period before and after the occurrence of an alarm.
If you selected "ON" in [PRE ALARM]
