Ensure that the coupling halves with the copper pipes are not twisted or kinked.

Sealing and attaching the hood
1.
Mount one clip.
If you wish to avoid damaging the cab's rear panel (drilling a hole), you can also fix the hood in place using a suit-
able adhesive. Observe the instructions provided by the adhesive manufacturer.
2. Mount the hood.

Routing the supply lines to the compressor unit
Observe the following notes when routing the supply lines:
• The installation manual for the SPX 1200C compressor unit should also be observed.
• Mount the SPX 1200C compressor unit first to enable the exact position of the compressor unit to be deter-
mined. This will save you bending the copper pipe several times to make it fit.
• Ensure that the maximum length of the supply lines does not exceed 2.1 m.
• To avoid damaging the cab's rear panel fix the clip in place using a suitable adhesive. Observe the instructions
provided by the adhesive manufacturer.

Shorten any supply line which is not needed by bending a curve.
2. Fasten the supply lines to the cab's rear panel using the clips.

Connecting the compressor unit to the evaporator unit
1.
Route the connection cable in a curve out through the opening in the floor of the compressor unit.
2. Fasten the connection cable as shown.

Installing the electrical connection lines
1.
Connect the unit directly to the battery.
Ask your vehicle manufacturer for the specifications of the battery.
