OPERATION
CUTTING INTO HARD OR FROZEN GROUND OR DITCHING
For digging and ditch excavation of hard or frozen ground, tilt
the blade. Even hard ground can be dug effectively by a tilted
or angled blade.
FELLING TREES, REMOVING STUMPS
NOTICE
Do not up root trees or stumps or fell trees by angling or
tilting the blade.
For trees with a diameter of 10 to 30cm (3.9 to 11.8in), raise
the blade high and push 2 or 3 times to fell the tree.
Next, travel in reverse, and dig the corner of the blade into the
ground to cut and dig up the roots.
When doing this, never hit the tree at high speed or apply
shock to fell the tree.
ADUSTING POSTURE OF WORK EQUIPMENT
METHOD OF ANGLING BLADE
(Angledozers only)
When dozing toward one side only, operate with angled blade.
When adjusting the amount of angling, it is dangerous
if the work equipment is moved by mistake. Set the
work equipment in a safe condition, then stop the
engine and lock the work equipment securely with the
safety lever.
Be careful when removing arm (2). After arm (2) is
removed, the blade can move freely.
