Removing and Replacing the A18 System Motherboard
Removing and Replacing the A18 System Motherboard
Tools Required
— T-10 TORX driver (set to 9 in-lb)
— T-20 TORX driver (set to 21 in-lb)
— 5/16 inch open-end torque wrench (set to 10 in-lb)
— 5/8 inch nutsetter (set to 21 in-lb)
— ESD grounding wrist strap
Be careful not to damage the center pins of the semirigid cables. Some
flexing of the cables is necessary to remove assemblies but do not
over-bend them.
Any cables that are removed should be labeled for reinstallation later.
Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the power cord.
2. Remove the outer and inner covers. Refer to

6. Disconnect the rear panel cables.
7. Remove the threaded hardware from the rear panel.
8. Remove the rear panel.
