A loose spark plug can overheat and damage the engine. Over
tightening the spark plug can damage the threads in the cylinder
head.
9.4 SPARK ARRESTER MAINTENANCE
NOTE
If the generator has been running, the muffler will be very hot.

Allow it to cool before proceeding.
⚫
The Spark Arrester must be serviced every 100 hours to
maintain its efficiency.
