- Function switch OFF-RADIO- CLOCK: To select unit OFF, RADIO or CLOCK mode.

AC adaptor power
The supplied AC adaptor is suitable for use on AC main supplies of 230V AC and should only be connected to a mains supply within these parameters.
AC adaptor is plugged to the wall, once function switch (OFF-RADIO-CLOCK) slide to OFF position AND there is no backup battery installed on battery door, memory of CLOCK and ALARM time has been erased, then you have to power on the unit and reset the clock and alarm time again.
USING ON batteries
- Open the battery compartment at the rear of the unit.
- Before inserting the batteries, observe the polarities(+ and -) of the battery, then install 4x UM4 /R03 / AAA size batteries to battery compartment.
- Replace the compartment door.
Battery Replacement
Batteries should be replaced when the volume decreases or the sound distorts
Notes on batteries
- Do not mix different types of batteries or old batteries with new ones.
- Never recharge the batteries, apply heat to them or take them apart.
- Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
- Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
NOTE: In order to avoid leakage, always remove the batteries when unit will not be used for a long period of time.

Before throwing any batteries away, consult your distributor who may be able to take them back for specific recycling.
SETTING THE TIME
- Slide the function switch (OFF-RADIO-CLOCK) to Clock position.
- Press and hold the TIME SET/12H/24H button for 2 seconds, 24H appears on the display.
- Press TUN-/
or TUN+/
button to select 12 or 24 hour format. - Press the TIME SET/12H/24H again, the hour digits blink. Press TUN-/
or TUN+/
to set the hour. - Press the TIME SET/12H/24H again to confirm, the minute digits blink. Press TUN-/
or TUN+/
to set the minute. - Press TIME SET/12H/24H again to complete time setting.
NOTE:
- If 12 hours format is selected, PM icon is used for the afternoon time.
- If during the adjustment time no key is activated in 10 seconds, the current display will be automatically stored.
TURNING UNIT ON/OFF
To turn the unit ON, Slide the function switch (OFF-RADIO-CLOCK) to Radio or Clock position for the unit operation.
To off the unit, slide the function switch (OFF-RADIO-CLOCK) to OFF position.
LISTENING TO THE FM RADIO
MANUAL SEARCH
- Slide the function switch (OFF-RADIO-CLOCK) to RADIO position.
- The current radio frequency will be displayed for several seconds, the clock will be displayed.
- Press repeatedly TUN-/
or TUN+/
to find your station. - Adjust the sound level by volume control +/- at back of unit.
AUTOMATIC SEARCH
- When the unit is on, slide the function switch to RADIO position.
- Press and Hold on TUN-/
or TUN+/
for about 2 seconds to start the search. The automatic search function locates stations whose signal is strong. - Press again TUN-/
or TUN+/
to continue the search.
For optimal radio reception:
FM: Extend and position the antenna wire.
Note:
Stations with weak signals can be searched manually.
The sound is automatically muted during search.
RADIO PRESET STATIONS
Automatic storage
Slide the function switch (OFF-RADIO-CLOCK) to RADIO position, Press and hold ALARM.SET/MEMO button, unit will automatically search and save the available 20 FM station.
Note:
When you store on a channel already been preset, the previous station will automatically be cleared and replaced by the new station.
Listen to station presets
- Press ALARM.SET/MEMO repeatedly to select the next preset station.
- Adjust the sound level by volume control +/- at back of unit.
SETTING THE ALARM AND THE ALARM MODE
- Slide the function switch (OFF-RADIO-CLOCK) to CLOCK position.
- Press and hold ALARM.SET/MEMO for 2 seconds, hour digit and AI1 indicator blinks that the 1st alarm is start to being set.
- Select TUN-/
or TUN+/
to set the hour and Press ALARM. SET/MEMO to confirm the hour setting, the minute digits blink. - Select TUN-/
or TUN+/
to set the minute and Press ALARM. SET/MEMO to set the time of wake up. - Press TUN-/
or TUN+/
to select the source of wake up:
(buzzer), FM station.
Note: If you want to select FM station as your alarm wake up source, please turn to your needed station first (Slide the function switch to radio mode, set your desired radio station and then slide the function switch to CLOCK position to start your ALARM mode setting )
- Press ALARM.SET/MEMO to save the settings of 1st alarm, AI1 icon appear and AI2 indicator with hour digits blinks that the 2st alarm is start to being set.
- Same procedure applies for Alarm 2 setting and alarm indicator AI1 & AI2 appear after setting.
- Make sure the AI1 and /or AI2 indicator are displayed once you set finish, otherwise the alarm will not work.
To check the alarm settings
Press repeatedly ALARM.SET/MEMO button to check your set time of 1st and 2nd alarms.
STOPPING THE ALARM
- Alarm repetition
Press SNOOZE/SLEEP, the alarm stops and will sound again 9 minutes later. - Alarm stop
Press ALARM.SET/MEMO, The alarm will sound again the next day at the same time. - Alarm Cancellation
To cancel the alarm permanently, Press ALARM.SET/MEMO repeatedly until the alarm indicator AI1 or AI2 lights off.
DIMMER
Switch the dimmer button to select the brightness of screen: high or low.
SLEEP FUNCTION
To fall asleep with the radio or Aux in mode, press SNOOZE/SLEEP to select: 90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40,30, 20 or 10 minutes of listening. The unit will turn off automatically after a specified time.
To cancel the sleep function, press SNOOZE/SLEEP repeatedly until Arabic numerals disappeared or slide the function switch to OFF position.
- Slide the function switch (OFF-RADIO-CLOCK) to Radio position
- Connect your auxiliary source (e.g. MP3 player) to the AUX IN jack on the back side of the unit (cable is supplied).
- " AU" appears on the display. Normally use your external audio appliance; the sound automatically goes through the speakers of your device.
- Adjust the sound level by volume control +/- at back of unit.
- Disconnect the external appliance from the auxiliary input to stop playback.

Automatic standby mode
In a concern of saving energy, when playback has reached to the end or listening volume is set at a very low level and no control is operated on the device for a period of 10 minutes, the unit will automatically switch to Standby mode. To switch the unit on again, Slide the function switch (OFF-RADIO-CLOCK) to OFF and then to RADIO.

- Clean the player with a soft cloth, or a damp chamois leather. Never use solvents.
- Make sure that you keep your set away from water and high temperatures.
- Do not use your system immediately after transporting it from a cold place to a warm place, as condensation may cause the system to malfunction.
- To prevent personal injury, do not reverse any batteries and do not mix battery types.
- The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
- No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus

- Do not throw batteries in fire!
- The disconnect devices is the mains plug of apparatus. To be completely disconnect the power input, the mains plug of apparatus shall be disconnected from the mains. The mains plug of apparatus should not be obstructed OR should be easily accessed during intended use.
- Excessive sound pressure from earphones and headphones can cause hearing loss.
- Minimum distances 5 cm around the apparatus for sufficient ventilations.
- The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items such as newspaper, table-cloths, curtains etc.
- Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
- The use of apparatus in moderate climates.
