H3C VG 10-40/10-41 Voice Gateway Chapter 4 Booting and Configuration
provides various commands for configuring and managing the VG.
The CLI allows:
Local configuration through the console port;
Local or remote configuration through Telnet as well as
directly accessing and managing other VGs by using the
telnet command;
Hierarchical user protection (including three levels, i.e.,
guest, operator, and administrator). In case unauthorized
users intrude the VG, only administrator users are allowed to
configure and manage the VG;
In-service help whenever you enter <?>;
Quick network accessibility test by providing multiple
network diagnostic tools, such as tracert and ping;
Network troubleshooting by providing various detailed
debugging information;
Fuzzy keyword search via the command line interpreter.
Thus, you only need to enter the conflict-free keyword for the
interpretation of a command. For example, for the
interpretation of a display command, you simply need to
input "dis".

The VG can be configured in WEB configuration mode.
Compared with the CLI configuration approach, this configuration
approach is well-suited to the beginners and non-professional users
due to its simplicity, easy-to-use, and user-friendly features. Following
