A single-lever control operates both gearshift and throttle functions with the same lever.
Optional Lowspeed The Volvo Penta Lowspeed function is available for engines with hydraulic transmissions. Boats with powerful engines can have high speeds even at low revolutions; the low speed function reduces speed. N = Neutral position. Transmission is disengaged and engine revolutions are at idle.
Optional Joystick Volvo Penta Joystick is a control used for docking and maneuvering. Practise using the joystick and its functions in a safe and proper manner. Practise how to operate the boat with both joystick docking and steering functions. CAUTION! The joystick maneuvering works differently depending on if the docking function or steering function is active.
Optional Volvo Penta Interceptor System The Volvo Penta interceptor system is a trim system that uses interceptors installed on the transom to act on a boat's running characteristics and provide a safer, more comfortable passage regardless of weather conditions. The IS system affects a boat's running characteristics at speeds of ≈10 knots and above.

Maintenance Seawater Filter, Check and Cleaning The seawater filter is optional equipment. Volvo Penta offers two different seawater filters. If the water where the boat is operated contains a lot of contamination, weed etc., check the filter more frequently than specified in the maintenance schedule.
Always stop the engine and break the current using the main switches before working on the engine. IMPORTANT: Contact a Volvo Penta dealer for information if any arc welding will be performed on the boat. Arc welding can cause damage to the engine and boat electronics.
