4.6.2 - SLAM-SHUT VALVE FOR MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM PRESSURE

If the valve trips, service will be interrupted.
The minimum and maximum pressure slam-shut valve (A), if fitted, is a safety device whose function is to remain in the
open position under normal service conditions and to automatically and completely shut off the upstream gas flow when
the downstream pressure is beyond the set values:
• higher value for maximum pressure;
• lower for minimum pressure.
