Check Character Verification
AcheckcharacterisoptionalforChinaPost25andcanbeaddedasthelastcharacter.Itisacalculatedvalueusedtoverify the integrity
of thedata.
Disable: The scanner transmits China Post 25 barcodes as is.
Do Not Transmit Check Character After Verification: The scanner checks the integrity of all China Post 25 barcodes to
verifythatthedatacomplieswiththecheckcharacteralgorithm.Barcodespassingthecheckwillbetransmittedexceptthe last digit,
whereas those failing it will not betransmitted.
TransmitCheckCharacterAfterVerification:ThescannercheckstheintegrityofallChinaPost25barcodestoverifythat
thedatacomplieswiththecheckcharacteralgorithm.Barcodespassingthecheckwillbetransmitted,whereasthosefailing it will not
betransmitted.
**Disable
Transmit Check Character After Verification
If the Do Not Transmit Check Character After Verification option is enabled, China Post 25 barcodes
with a length that is less than the configured minimum length after having the check character excluded
willnotbedecoded.(Forexample,whentheDoNotTransmitCheckCharacterAfterVerificationoption
enabled and the minimum length is set to 4, China Post 25 barcodes with a total length of 4 characters
including the check character cannot beread.)
