Using Desktop Services
To validate the data:
1. Click
Validate
The page refreshes. A new
appears. Messages describing any problems appear in the message
area. If there are no errors, the message
found
is displayed in the message area.
2. Correct any errors in the data.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 until no errors are found.
4. Click
Save
to save the new configuration.

Scheduling synchronization

When you change your telephone data, the changes do not take effect
until they are sent to the telephone system. This process is called
synchronization.
The
SYNC Status
whether the telephone data is synchronized with the system. The
Status
indicator can have a number of values. The values that are
relevant to you, the desktop user, are:
Change:
Indicates that you have changed your telephone data, but
the changes were not yet transmitted to the telephone system.
Synchronization is required.
Transmitted:
the telephone system. No further synchronization is required.
Your system administrator determines whether you can schedule the
synchronization of your data changes. If the
