Filling in the lubricant
1. Pour 100 ml of oil through the opening between the
stationary part of mechanical seal 433.02 and rotor 818.
2. Thoroughly clean rotor 818 and the contact face of the
stationary part of mechanical seal 433.02. Remove any oil
residues.
3. Fit the rotating part of mechanical seal 433.02.
4. Fit impeller 230 and suction cover 162. Observe the
tightening torques.

7.3 Drainage/cleaning

Fluids, consumables and supplies which are hot or pose a health hazard
Hazard to persons and the environment!
 Collect and properly dispose of flushing fluid and any fluids handled.
 Wear safety clothing and a protective mask if required.
 Observe all legal regulations on the disposal of fluids posing a health hazard.
1. Always flush the pump if it has been used for handling
noxious, explosive, hot or other hazardous fluids.
2. Always flush and clean the pump before transporting it to
the workshop. Provide a certificate of decontamination for
the pump set. (

7.4 Dismantling the pump set

7.4.1 General information/Safety regulations

Unqualified personnel performing work on the pump (set)
Risk of injury!
 Always have repair work and maintenance work performed by specially trained,
qualified personnel.
