HP OpenView

You can integrate RMON into HP OpenView. To do so, you must set the HP
OpenView path to include the UNIX environment variable. The path is set in
the .cshrc file.
To see the path, enter the following:
setenv | grep PATH
A path is displayed similar to this:
PATH=/usr/local/
xemacs/bin/sparc-sun-solaris2.4:
bin:/sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/ccs/bin:/usr/dt/bin:/usr/openwin/bin:/
usr/etc:/usr/ucb:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/share/lib:/usr/local/
share/bin:/opt/OV/bin:/home/jblogs/bin:.
Ensure that the HP OpenView directory is in path /opt/OV/bin.
MIB files are shipped with the Device Manager, and you can find them in the
following directory:
dm/dmdb/acc/OV/mibs
Load each of the MIB files in the following order:
Description
The value of sysUpTime at the time this event entry last generated an
event. If this entry has not generated any events, this value is zero.
If traps are specified to be sent to the owner, then this is the name of the
machine that will receive alarm traps.

rfc1253rcc.mib
