If the brake fluid level is too low, the braking effect and the brak‐
ing characteristics may be impaired.
Stop the vehicle as soon as possible, paying attention to

road and traffic conditions. Do not continue driving.
Consult a qualified specialist workshop.

Do not top up the brake fluid.

* EBD is unavailable due to a malfunction. This means that ABS, BAS,
hill start assist and ESP
example, are also unavailable.
ATTENTION ASSIST is deactivated and other driving systems could
be automatically deactivated.
The brake system continues to function normally, but without the
functions listed above.
& WARNING Risk of skidding if EBD, ABS and ESP
functioning
The wheels may block during braking and ESP
form any vehicle stabilization.
The steerability and braking characteristics are heavily impaired
and the braking distance may increase. In addition, other driving
safety systems are switched off.
