1.8 Auto Addressing Mode

While using the CCM-270A/WS, one should always check that the S6 switch has been set to the auto addressing mode. The
following settings need to be checked for this.
The S6-3 switch is available on the outdoor unit and this setting needs to be done on the master ODU. Irrespective of the
topology mode, the master ODU should always be set to auto addressing while using CCM-270A/WS gateway device

1.9 ENC4 Switch Settings

The ENC4 switch is used to set the network address for the unit. This switch is present on the outdoor unit. The following
setting needs to be done on the outdoor unit. This network address setting is basically done so that it is able to distinguish
the various outdoor units. Let's discuss the settings for this switch.
In case, there is only one system in each port of CCM-270A/WS, there is no need to set the ENC4 switch for this situation.
We can keep the network address of the outdoor unit as 0 as the outdoor units would be distinguished from each other on
the basis of settings of ENC1 switch. Also, in case of one CCM-270A/WS, there is no need for any such setting.
In case, there is more than one system in each port of CCM-270A/WS, we need to distinguish each of the outdoor unit
from the other. But unlike the previous case, the units from different system connected in the same port will have the
same value for ENC1 switch. So, we need to see that the network address for each of the outdoor unit is distinguished and
combined with the ENC1 setting for the outdoor unit, each outdoor unit gets differentiated from the other outdoor unit
available in the same port.
We need to change the ENC4 setting for each system outdoor unit. For Eg. If there are 8 systems connected in one port of
the CCM-270A/WS, then for the outdoor unit of each system the ENC4 value should be same. For Eg. Let us consider that
we give the address 0 to the outdoor units of the first system, as we know that the outdoor Unit address for each ODU is
set through the ENC1 switch. Now after combining the settings of ENC1 and ENC4 each outdoor unit will have a certain
unique address in each port and hence is the purpose of this setting achieved.
