21.2 Inspecting and Maintaining the Sprayer

WARNING
Remove the battery and relieve system pressure before
inspecting the sprayer or carrying out any
maintenance,@ 7.1. Carry out only the maintenance
operations described in this manual. There are no user-
authorized repairs. STIHL recommends that repair work be
performed by authorized STIHL servicing dealers.
Proper maintenance of the sprayer includes the following
activities:
► Periodically cleaning the filter and spray nozzle to ensure
they are not clogged or blocked.
► Inspecting the unit (including battery compartment cover,
container, hoses, valves, couplings, connectors, gaskets
and other components) periodically and having worn,
damaged or missing components replaced.
► Having worn, missing or damaged safety labels replaced
by an authorized STIHL servicing dealer.
If you make a warranty claim for a component that has not
been serviced or maintained properly, coverage may be
denied.
