Filling the Container
WARNING
■ To reduce the risk of injury from leakage of the spray
solution:
– Before using the sprayer with chemicals, fill the
container with fresh water; pressurize the sprayer
and practice spraying; check for leaks; when
thoroughly familiar with the sprayer operation, drain
the water and follow normal operating procedures.
■ To reduce the risk of injury or property damage from
chemical exposure:
– Fill the container in a well-ventilated area, outdoors
and follow all handling instructions provided on the
chemical product label.
– Prevent spillage by placing the sprayer on a level
surface before filling. Make sure it is secure and will
not topple over.
– Do not overfill the container with chemical solution.
– If you fill the container with a hose attached to a
central water supply, keep the hose out of the
solution to reduce the risk of backflow, i.e., to reduce
the risk that chemicals could be sucked into the
water supply in case of a sudden vacuum.
