MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES

Place vehicle on a level surface. Set
the gearbox to PARK.
From underneath of vehicle, clean
drain plug area.

Place a drain pan under the front
differential.
Access the drain plug through the hole
in the skid plate.
Remove drain plug.
Unscrew filler plug.

Install drain plug.

Refill front differential with recom-
mended oil.

Place the vehicle on a level surface.
Select PARK position.
Check the gearbox oil level by remov-
ing the gearbox oil level plug located
at the rear of vehicle, on the RH side.

1. Gearbox oil level plug
Reinstall the
completely.
Remove plug again and check oil level
on the dipstick. It should be near or
equal to the upper mark.
2.75 ± .25 Nm
(24 ± 2 lbf-in)
16.25 ± 2.75 Nm
(144 ± 24 lbf-in)
