For demodulated signals, the residual noise generated by the Measuring Receiver must be accounted
for in distortion measurements (that is, residual AM, FM, or
M).
Description
All audio measurements are made o n external audio signals. Level accuracy
is
measured by com-
paring the voltage reading o n the Measuring Receiver with the output from a more accurately set
audio oscillator. Residual distortion and noise is measured by making a dist.ortion measurement o n a
