Finer Resolution for dB Measurements
Special Function 32. I enables
a
resoliition of 0.00 I dB. For audio frequency measurements, this
special fiinction enables a resolution o f 0.1
Hz
for frequencies from 100 to 250 kHz instead o f the
normally displayed resoliition o f 1 Hz. T h e selection of Special Function 32.0 o r 32.1 is maintained
through instrument power down.
32.0 Power is displayed with the normal measurement resolution of 0.01 dB.
32.1 Power is displayed with a measurement resolution of 0.001 dB.
32.2 Displays

if the normal measurement resolution is enabled (32.0 SPCL) and displays
1
if a finer
resolution is enabled (32.1).
Use SET REF for Relative Tuned RF Level Measurements.
T h e SET REF key should be used to make scaled measurements in the Tuned R F Level Measurement
mode. (Refer to Attcnuafor Mcwsirrc.mcnts on page 3-1 15).
Modulation Flatness.
When used in conjunction with track mode tuning, the Rat.io function makes checking modulation
flatness with respect to R F freqirency very convenient. (Refer

Setting Measurement Limits.
