7.3. Cleaning

Damage to the device due to water penetration

- The device was tested against water jets according to IPxK5 of ISO 20653 standard. Different
loads, e.g., with a pressure washer or a higher flow rate, do not correspond to the intended use.
- Never clean the CANlink mobile device with a pressure washer or similar.
To avoid damage caused by penetrating liquids, no high-pressure cleaners may be used for cleaning. In order to
remove contamination, you should also avoid using jet water if possible. Instead, use a damp cleaning cloth with a
solvent-free and acid-free cleaning liquid.
