6.11. Firmware update

You can load a firmware update to the device by remote maintenance via the DataPlatform, the CAN interface or the
micro-USB interface (Type A connector).

Carry out a node scan in Proemion Configurator to find the current firmware version. See
Scan.
NOTICE
From firmware version 7.0.0, the file extension for the firmware files is

<code>&#x002A;.bin</code>. Devices with earlier firmware versions cannot detect these firmware
files.<br> <br> * In the case of devices with earlier firmware versions, you must first install the
adapter firmware 7.0.0 with file extension <code>&#x002A;.FwBin</code>.
