Configuring the System
This chapter describes how to upgrade MS software (LTQ XL 2.2) to the MS/ETD
software (LTQ XL 2.3). It is assumed that the Xcalibur core version 2.0.6 is already
installed on the system PC.
To upgrade the software to LTQ XL 2.3 and configure the system
1. Insert the LTQ XL 2.3 Upgrade CD into the computer CD drive.
2. Click LTQ XL 2.3 in the Xcalibur installation screen shown in
Figure 12. Xcalibur installation screen
3. Click Next in the "Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for LTQ XL"
window.
4. Click Next after accepting the terms of the license agreement.
5. Accept the default conditions (in parenthesis) in each of the following
windows by clicking Next after each one:
a. Is there an LTQ XL attached to this computer? (Yes)
b. Serial number, Auto-detect ethernet address.
