Use the JOG dial or the CURSOR Up and Down buttons to move up and down the tree,
and use the CURSOR Left and Right buttons to move through the tree transversely. The
selected folder appears highlighted and its name appears in the window's title bar. The
file is stored in the folder selected on the left of the file (which is in the upper hierarchy
of the tree). When you've selected a folder, press "CLOSE."
You can display information about the selected folder by pressing "INFORM." Folders
and files can be renamed by pressing "RENAME." New folders can be created by press-
ing "NEW."
Select the "Type" parameter, and use the JOG dial to select one of the fol-

lowing options:
SAVE SAMPLE (saves Samples), SAVE PROGRAM (saves Programs), SAVE MULTI
(saves Multi), SAVE SONGS (saves Songs), SAVE ALL (saves all files in memory).
The Item parameter indicates only the file selected in the "Type" parameter. If "SAVE
ALL" is selected, the Item parameter does not appear.
Select the "Item" parameter, and use the JOG dial to select the file in mem-

ory that you want to save.
Press "DO IT" to save the specified file, press "ALL" to save all files of the

specified type in memory, or press "MODIFY" to save only new and mod-
ified files.
If you have selected a Sample, you can save it by pressing "DO IT."
When you press "ALL," a window similar to the following appears.
When the "Replace same samples" parameter is set to "YES, " the Sample in memory
replaces the file on the disk. If the parameter is set to "NO," Samples with the identical
names are not saved.
Press "DO IT" to save all Samples.
When you press "MODIFIED," a window similar to the following appears.
Only new or modified files (which display an asterisk) are saved. The save operation is
the same as when you press "ALL."
If you are saving a Program, a window similar to the following appears.
