COMMAND mode
You can apply Q-FX by using intuitive command names, such as POWER and SWELL.
The parameters settings for the selected Command appears on the display.
The following Q-FX types are available:
Q-FX
POWER
SWELL
DISTORT
CRISP
GROW DRUM
MASSIVE DR
WHIRL
DISTANCE
COSMO
RUMBL
ROBOT
UNDERSEA
In Command mode you can apply two Q-FX simultaneously.
Press ">FX" to audition the processed Sample, or press ">ORIG" to listen to

the Sample without any Q-FX.
Press "DO IT" to resample the Sample with the selected Q-FX.

The KEEP or RETRY window appears. See "Sample Edit" on page 33 for more informa-
tion on the KEEP or RETRY window.
FX mode
You can apply Q-FX in FX mode in the same manner as FX processors in Effect mode.
In FX mode, the operation is more complicated but allows detailed settings.
You can apply up to four FX when resampling mono Samples; two when resampling ste-
reo Samples.
Select the Effect name parameter, then turn the JOG dial.

The Select Effect window appears.
Use the JOG dial to select the effect, then press "SELECT."

The "Wet|Dry" parameter sets the balance between the effect and the direct sound. The
"Effect" parameter specifies On or Off for each FX.
