Entering Names

Entering Names
Samples, Programs, Multis files are named and renamed by using the Name window,
shown below, which appears when the JOG dial is rotated while a nameable parameter is
selected. Names can be up to 16 characters long, including spaces.
Use the Left and Right CURSOR buttons to move the CURSOR within the name. Use
the Up and Down CURSOR buttons to select uppercase and lowercase characters respec-
tively. To enter a space, while holding down the SHIFT button, press the Right CURSOR
button. To delete, while holding down the SHIFT button, press the Left CURSOR button.
You can copy and paste the name entry by using the "COPY" and "PASTE" buttons.
Press "ENTER" when you have finished. Press "CANCEL" to cancel the Name window.
A USB keyboard can be connected to the front panel USB port for quick name entry.
