Setting the FX Level

You can set each FX level and turn the direct signal on or off, as follows.
Press the FX button, then press "MIX."

The MIX page appears.
The "Fx Type" column and the "Output" column are the same as those on the PATCH
page.
Level:
Adjusts the output level of each effect.
Direct:
When the parameter is set to OFF, the direct signal of the Program or Part routed
to the corresponding FX is not output. For example, if you wish to use only the effect
sound without any direct sound, (such as the distortion or compressor), set this parameter
to OFF to output only the processed signal. When the parameter is set to ON, both the
effect signal and the direct Program or Part signal are output.

Editing FX

FX can be edited as follows.
Press the FX button.

The FX button indicator lights up and the PATCH page appears.
In the "FX Type" column, select the FX processor that you want to edit.

Press "EDIT."

The edit page for the selected FX appears, as shown in the example below.

Select the parameters and use the JOG dial to set them as required.
FX can be turned on and off by using the "Effect: ON/OFF" parameter, or by pressing
"ON/OFF."
The "Wet|Dry" parameter specifies the balance between the effect sound and the direct
sound. When it is set to "100," only the effect sound is output. When it is set to "0," only
the direct sound is output.
Note: Even when the "Wet|Dry" parameter is set to "100, " direct sound is output if the
"Direct" parameter is set to ON on the MIX page. To make sure that only the effect sound
is output, set the "Wet|Dry" parameter to "100, " and set the "Direct" parameter to "OFF."
