Chapter 7—Using Programs
Use the "Zone X-fade" parameter to turn crossfading between Zones "ON" or "OFF."
Use the "X-fade curve" parameter to select a crossfade curve. The default setting of the
"Zone X-fade" function is "VELOCITY," which can be changed to other sources, such
as Control Change, in the Program Modulation window.

Creating Drum Programs

Drum Programs can be created as follows. See page 2 for more information on Drum
Programs.
Press the PROGRAM button.

The PROGRAM button indicator lights up and the MAIN page appears.
Select the Program name, and then press the WINDOW button.

The Program window appears, as shown below.
Press "NEW."

The Create New Program window appears, as shown below.
Select the "Type" parameter, and then use the JOG dial to select "DRUM."

5 Select the "New name" parameter, and then rotate the JOG dial.
The Name window appears. See "Entering Names" on page 17 for more information.
Press "DO IT."

A new Drum Program is created.
