The following vehicle data is transmitted:
The gear engaged

The distinction between parked, standstill, roll-

ing and driving
The day/night mode of the instrument cluster
R
The transfer of this data is used to alter how con-
tent is displayed to correspond to the driving situa-
tion.
The following position data is transmitted:
Coordinates

Speed
R
Compass direction
R
Acceleration direction
R
This data is only transferred while the navigation
system is active, in order to improve it (e.g. so it
can continue functioning when in a tunnel).

If you handle a data storage medium while driv-
ing, your attention is diverted from the traffic
conditions. This could also cause you to lose
control of the vehicle.
