The USB connection is galvanically isolated from the supply voltage (PELV) and other high-voltage terminals.

The USB connection is not galvanically isolated from ground. Use only isolated laptop/PC as connection to the USB connector on the drive or an

isolated USB cable/converter.

Fuses installed on the supply side ensure that if a component breakdown (first fault) occurs inside the drive, any potential damage is
contained within the drive enclosure. For a list of fuses, see
